Terms of service.

These terms apply when you use capitolthreads.co or place an order with Capitol Threads, Sacramento, California. By placing an order you agree to them.

Orders and pricing

Prices shown in the studio are calculated from your selections. The final price is shown before you pay. If we find an obvious pricing error, we'll contact you before producing your order and you can cancel for a full refund.

Proofs and approval

For custom orders we send a digital proof before production. Please check spelling, sizes, colors, placement and quantities carefully — once you approve a proof, we produce exactly what it shows, and we aren't responsible for errors you approved.

Colors and mockups

Mockups in the studio are previews. Garment colors other than the photographed blanks are digital recolors, and thread and ink colors can look slightly different on screens than in real life. Small variations in placement and size are normal for hand-loaded embroidery and printing.

Your artwork

By uploading artwork, you confirm you own it or have permission to use it, and that it doesn't infringe anyone's trademark, copyright or other rights. We may refuse any design we believe is infringing, offensive or unlawful, and refund you if so. You keep ownership of your artwork; you give us permission to use it only to produce your order.

Customer-supplied garments

If you provide your own garments, we take care but aren't responsible for damage caused by garment quality, fabric type or pre-existing defects.

Shipping, returns and refunds

See our Shipping & Returns policy. Custom orders are final sale except for our mistakes or defects.

Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Sales tax is added where required.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays caused by carriers, suppliers or events beyond our control.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted when you place your order applies to that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
